San Fransisco With flowers in your hair? The wonderful city of San Fransisco, with its famous bridge, hills, cable cars, off-shore former prison of notoriety and often even referred to as the food capital of the USA. So many iconic places to visit that you are already so familiar with from countless movies and TV series.
Sample itinerary for a group of 50 Day 1 Arrival to SFO airport, met and greeted bytwo  local guides, and transfer in Super Stretch limousines to your hotel. Light dinner in the hotel restaurant. Day 2 Sightseeing activities in San Francisco. Here are some suggestions: GO-CARS A fun way to discover San Francisco at leisure. GoCars are easy and fun to drive. Guided by GPS (Global Positioning System) – the car always knows where you are as you drive, even if you don’t. It tells you where to turn and what you’re passing, and it waitsif you want to stop, picking  up from where it left off. The tour begins on Fisherman’s Warf and takes you past the most spectacular San Francisco sites – from the bay, to the ocean, to the famous parks, neighborhoods and streets in between. The standard 2-hour tour allows participants to see some of San Francisco’s most famous landmarks: Fisherman’s Wharf, Marina District, Chrissy Fields, Golden gate Bridge, Presidio, Lombard Street and Russian Hill. And for those who are keen to see more of San Francisco, a 4-hour tour also visits the Legion of Honor, Cliff House, Golden Gate Park, Coit Tower and Twin Peaks.  Narrated Segway Tour of the Waterfront and Fisherman’s Wharf feature spectacular views of the San Francisco Bay while you visit: Municipal Pier and Aquatic Park. Fisherman's Wharf and its picturesque fishing harbors. Cable Car turnaround. Ghirardelli Square home of delicious chocolate! National Maritime Museum and the historic sailing ships at Hyde Street Pier Spectacular views of Alcatraz and Golden Gate Bridge. Fish Alley, Fisherman's Chapel, WWII Liberty Ship and Submarine Pampanito Visit Wharf areas behind the scenes where the fishing industry, fleet and seafood processing are located. See the Dungeness Crab Stands in Historic Fisherman's Wharf. Loop through North Beach San Francisco's Little Italy. See Washington Square Park in North Beach. Tour and Training Overview: After a 45 to 50-minute fun training on how to safely operate the Segway, you'll explore the San Francisco waterfront as shown above. Total time including training is about 2.5 hours. Standard 4-hour city tour but in two open-air, motorised Cable Cars (25 guests each), and each with its own guide.  This is much more fun and casual than a regular bus and allows easier access to getting off and on at interesting stops. “Ride the Ducks” guided tour of San Francisco, including 4 hours of sightseeing on these unusual vehicles, which will drive right not only on the streets of San Francisco but also right INTO the San Francisco Bay for a tour of the waterfront! Bicycle Tour of San Francisco including crossing the Golden Gate Bridge and ferry return. Everyone is fitted with bicycles and helmets and led along the waterfront (or on a customised itinerary) then across the Golden Gate Bridge to Sausalito with photo stops along the way. The rental is for 3 hours (can be longer) after which the participants can enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Ferry across the bay back to San Francisco (ticket included) where we will provide a real cable car ticket for return to the hotel independently. DINNER SUGGESTIONS FOR THIS NIGHT: In addition to the restaurants shown separately in attachments to the email, here are two other choices for casual dining. Epic Roast House Featuring panoramic views of the San Francisco Bay, Bay Bridge, Treasure Island and the San Francisco Skyline. Led by acclaimed Executive Chef Parke Ulrich, EPIC blends award-winning design and delicious, innovative  contemporary steakhouse cuisine to create a dramatic dining experience. Three hour DINNER CRUISE on the CALIFORNIA SPIRIT YACHT. This beautiful boat can easily accommodate a group of 50- 60 passengers with the benefit of sightseeing around the beautiful San Francisco Bay while you dine.  A buffet dinner with an open beer/wine/soda bar will be included at the quoted price. Entertainment of any level can be added to the experience. Day 3 Alcatraz visit (4 hours max) Transfer to Pier 33 for Alcatraz visit. Ferry ride to Alcatraz. Upon entering the prison, the group will be given an audio tour headset. The tour is available in English, Spanish, German, French, Italian, Japanese, Dutch, Mandarin, Portugese and Korean. Return by ferry to Pier 33 and back to the hotel. Evening idea: Bourbon & Branch, a bar near Union Square used to be an actual “speakeasy” in the 1920’s when Prohibition (no legal drinking) was the law in America. Very old-style charm inside and now it is known as one of the top places in the country for the quality of the “mixologists” who make fancy drinks with exotic ingredients.  A group of up to 50 people can buy out the Library, or a larger group up to 65 people buy out both the Wilson & Wilson Room (30 people max) and the Russell’s Room (35 people max - the original cigar store with the secret window that got you into the secret bar). It includes mostly unlimited drinking with two private bartenders who will pour drinks but also will give instructions and lessons on how to mix specialty Bourbon drinks, and each person will become involved in mixing their own drinks. Day 4 Napa Valley Wine tasting and lunch Leave the city and cross the Golden Gate Bridge with a sightseeing stop on the Northern side of the Bridge with great views of San Francisco. Arrive at Artesa winery where the group can enjoy the amazing sculptures outside before entering the winery for a private tour. This winery has a marvelous art collection of the local artist Gordon Huether (founder of the Architectural Glass Design in Napa), his work is internationally known so a visit to this ultra-premium winery is a delight to both the palate and the eye After the morning visits to wineries tour will continue to lunch at BRIX RESTAURANT in Oakville,  a large, sunny, up- scale, country-chic restaurant with extensive private gardens and its own vineyard nearby. Contemporary styling with rustic elements and one-of-a-kind design details.  Cuisine is Californian / Mediterranean and a perfect marriage to the style and placement of the restaurant. After lunch the groups will visit the second winery: ROBERT MONDAVI WINERY: A sprawling, California Mission-style winery with expansive arches and colorful garden courtyard, Robert Mondavi Winery offers one of the most comprehensive tour programs in the industry from wine growing, fermentation to barrel again and bottling. Gala dinner: If the group is large enough and wants a formal setting for their dinner, perhaps San Francisco City Hall. Dining in the Rotunda offers an elegant setting with a perfect backdrop for lighting and live entertainment presentations. Day 5 Transfer to the SFO airport for departure flight.
